What this trial studies

This observational study aims to assess the demographic characteristics, psychological capital, job satisfaction, work environment, and political skills of clinical nursing staff across various generations. By analyzing the correlation between these factors and the intention to leave their jobs, the study seeks to provide empirical data that can inform better workplace practices. The research will involve current nursing staff aged 20 and older who are employed in hospitals and willing to participate. No interventions will be applied, as the focus is solely on observation and data collection.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are clinical nursing staff aged 20 years or older who are currently employed in a hospital and possess a nursing license.

Not a fit: Patients who do not hold a nursing license or are not currently employed in a hospital setting will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved job satisfaction and retention strategies for nurses, enhancing the overall work environment in healthcare settings.

How similar studies have performed: While there may be studies exploring similar themes, this specific focus on generational differences among nurses is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
