What this trial studies

This observational study focuses on patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD) who have undergone endovascular revascularization. It aims to identify risk factors associated with adverse cardiovascular and lower extremity outcomes following the procedure. The study will collect and analyze preoperative clinical data to better understand the challenges faced by vascular surgeons in managing complications. By examining the relationship between known risk factors and patient outcomes, the study seeks to improve treatment strategies for this common condition.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adult patients with lower extremity arterial occlusive disease who have successfully undergone endovascular revascularization.

Not a fit: Patients with severe infections, tumors, liver and kidney failure, or autoimmune diseases may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved patient outcomes and tailored treatment strategies for individuals with peripheral arterial occlusive disease.

How similar studies have performed: While this study addresses a common condition, the specific focus on risk factors for adverse outcomes in endovascular revascularization is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested in previous studies.
