What this trial studies
This observational study aims to track the recovery of balance and walking abilities in stroke patients using an interactive assessment game. Participants will be observed over time, performing tasks that assess sitting balance, standing balance, and gait initiation. The study employs a combination of clinical scales and advanced biomechanical measurements to gather detailed insights into recovery patterns. The ultimate goal is to enhance rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs, improving overall care and quality of life for stroke survivors.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who have experienced a supratentorial stroke.
Not a fit: Patients with other neurological or orthopedic disorders, severe comorbidities, or significant communication deficits may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved rehabilitation strategies that enhance recovery outcomes for stroke survivors.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, similar studies have shown promise in understanding recovery patterns in stroke rehabilitation.
