Treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer with Leptomeningeal Metastasis in China
Database of Real-world Study on the Treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer With Leptomeningeal Metastasis in China
This study looks at how well different treatments work for patients in China with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain's protective layers, while also checking for safety and survival outcomes.

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to gather data on patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have developed leptomeningeal metastasis (LM) and have received antitumor therapy since 2018. It will include both retrospective and prospective data from multiple centers in China, focusing on treatment strategies and their efficacy, such as overall survival and time to failure. The study also seeks to evaluate the safety of various treatment approaches and the role of concomitant testing in these patients.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and leptomeningeal metastasis after January 2018 who have undergone antitumor therapy.
Not a fit: Patients with small cell lung cancer components or those with other types of tumors will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide valuable insights into effective treatment strategies for patients with NSCLC and leptomeningeal metastasis.
How similar studies have performed: While there may be limited data on similar studies, this approach is relatively novel in the context of real-world data collection for this specific patient population.
