What this trial studies

The Giochiamo 626 project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a training course that utilizes games to teach health and safety principles in the workplace. Workers will participate in a seminar where they will learn about occupational health and safety, followed by a division into control and intervention groups. The intervention group will engage in various types of games, including board, card, and role-playing games, to reinforce their learning. Knowledge assessments will be conducted before, immediately after, and following the gaming intervention to measure effectiveness.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are workers who are currently employed and willing to participate in a training program.

Not a fit: Individuals who are not currently employed or do not participate in workplace settings may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could enhance workers' understanding of health and safety practices, leading to safer workplace environments.

How similar studies have performed: While the use of games in educational settings is gaining traction, this specific approach to workplace health and safety training is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
