What this trial studies
This study randomly assigns 40 female college aerobics athletes into two groups: one receiving traditional physical training and the other undergoing a 12-week FMS functional movement training program. The experimental group will participate in training sessions four times a week, focusing on improving their functional movement and body posture control. Assessments will be conducted before and after the intervention to measure FMS scores, posture control, and athletic performance. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of functional movement training compared to traditional methods.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are female college students who are aerobics athletes and can commit to the training schedule.
Not a fit: Patients with recent sports injuries may not benefit from this study due to their inability to participate in the training program.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this training program could enhance body posture control and athletic performance in female aerobics athletes.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with functional movement training, suggesting this approach may be effective.
