Three-dimensional lumbar myofascial release and motor control for lumbar radiculopathy
Effect of Three-dimensional Lumbar Myofascial Release With Motor Control Training on Back Perception and Pain in Patients With Lumbar Radiculopathy
This study tests if a combination of a special back massage technique and motor control exercises can help people with lumbar radiculopathy feel less pain and move better.

What this trial studies
This study investigates the effectiveness of three-dimensional lumbar myofascial release combined with motor control training in improving back perception and reducing pain in patients suffering from lumbar radiculopathy. The research aims to address the functional impairments and range of motion deficits experienced by these patients, which significantly affect their quality of life. Participants will undergo specific interventions designed to enhance their recovery and overall well-being.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals aged 35 to 50 with unilateral lumbar radiculopathy lasting more than six months and a normal body mass index.
Not a fit: Patients with other musculoskeletal disorders, neurological deficits, or a history of spine surgery are unlikely to benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve pain management and functional outcomes for patients with lumbar radiculopathy.
How similar studies have performed: While similar approaches have been explored, this specific combination of interventions is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
