What this trial studies

This is a Phase 1/2 open-label study evaluating the TFX06 tablet as a single agent in women with ER-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer. The study aims to assess the safety and tolerability of TFX06, identify the maximum tolerated dose, and evaluate its pharmacokinetic properties and preliminary anti-tumor activities. Participants will be closely monitored to gather data on the drug's effectiveness and side effects.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are postmenopausal women aged 18 and older with ER-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer.

Not a fit: Patients with non-ER-positive or HER2-positive breast cancer may not benefit from this treatment.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this treatment could provide a new therapeutic option for women with advanced breast cancer that is currently difficult to treat.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise with similar approaches in targeting ER-positive breast cancer, indicating potential for success.
