What this trial studies

This interventional study aims to explore the impact of dietary intake on the characteristics of urothelial cells and urinary biomarkers. Participants will follow a specific diet for a set period, after which biomarker assessments will be conducted. They will then switch to an opposite diet for the same duration, with further biomarker evaluations at the end. The study seeks to compare the biomarker changes associated with different dietary regimes to understand their influence on urinary bladder health.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals without chronic diseases or regular medication who are willing to adhere to dietary instructions.

Not a fit: Patients with chronic diseases or those on regular medication may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into dietary modifications that may improve urinary bladder health and reduce disease risk.

How similar studies have performed: While dietary influences on health are widely studied, this specific approach to urinary bladder characteristics is novel and has not been extensively tested.
