What this trial studies
This clinical trial evaluates a new version of the Families Moving Forward (FMF) Connect app, designed for mental health providers to assist families dealing with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). The study compares two training methods: one involving tele-mentoring sessions and another that is self-directed through an online platform. Providers will learn to screen for prenatal alcohol exposure, diagnose FASD, and support families using the app. The trial aims to assess provider participation and outcomes across different training approaches.

Not a fit: Patients who do not provide mental health services to children or who are located outside the United States may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the ability of mental health providers to effectively support families affected by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
