What this trial studies
Oncoliq is an innovative test designed for the early detection of breast cancer through the analysis of liquid biopsies and microRNAs. This observational study aims to enroll 500 women aged 50-70 who have no previous cancer diagnosis and are undergoing routine gynecological control. The test has shown promising results in earlier phases, achieving 91% sensitivity in detecting breast cancer biomarkers. The pilot test will assess the accuracy of this method in a real-world setting.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women aged 50-70 who are undergoing routine gynecological check-ups and have no history of cancer.
Not a fit: Patients with a personal history of oncological disease or active COVID-19 infections may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this test could significantly improve early breast cancer detection, potentially reducing mortality rates and healthcare costs.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies utilizing liquid biopsies for cancer detection have shown success, indicating a promising avenue for early diagnosis.
