What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of telespeech therapy in treating adults who stutter. Participants will receive teletherapy sessions designed to address their stammering, comparing the outcomes to traditional speech therapy methods. The study will include adults aged 15 to 40 who meet specific criteria for stuttering, while excluding those with additional impairments. The goal is to assess whether remote therapy can provide significant benefits in managing stammering.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 15 to 40 who experience stuttering without any comorbid conditions.

Not a fit: Patients with stammering accompanied by visual or hearing impairments may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could offer a convenient and effective treatment option for adults struggling with stammering.
