What this trial studies

This intervention evaluates the effectiveness of the CardioSafe+ digital platform in aiding recovery for individuals with cardiovascular diseases. A total of 60 participants will engage in a structured six-week home-exercise program using this platform. Key assessments will include maximal respiratory pressures, exertion capacity, and subjective sensation of exertion to gauge improvements in physical well-being. The goal is to collect data before and after the intervention to determine the platform's effectiveness in managing cardiovascular complications.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals with stable cardiovascular conditions that have persisted for over a year and who have access to the necessary technology.

Not a fit: Patients with contraindications for physical activity or those experiencing acute episodes of cardiovascular disease may not benefit from this intervention.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this platform could enhance recovery and rehabilitation for patients with heart problems, leading to improved health outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using telerehabilitation for cardiovascular recovery, suggesting that this approach could be effective.
