What this trial studies

This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effects of a telerehabilitation program on overactive bladder symptoms and metabolic health in obese women. Participants will engage in Pilates exercises and follow a Mediterranean diet, with their progress monitored through online video programs. The study will compare outcomes between those receiving the telerehabilitation intervention and a control group. The goal is to assess improvements in both bladder symptoms and overall health metrics.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are women aged 35-45 with class I obesity and confirmed overactive bladder symptoms.

Not a fit: Patients with a history of surgical treatment for urological disease or those with urinary tract infections or oncological conditions may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve the quality of life for obese women suffering from overactive bladder syndrome.

How similar studies have performed: While telerehabilitation is a growing field, this specific approach targeting obese women with overactive bladder syndrome is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
