What this trial studies

College students are assigned to either a robot-assisted teamwork training program or a control group to compare outcomes related to cognition, attitudes, practical skills, and creative self-efficacy. The intervention uses teamwork-based tasks in an innovative technology learning context to observe changes in how participants approach creative problems. Outcomes are measured before and after the training to detect short-term effects on learning and confidence. The project is run by Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology and conducted on-site in Taichung.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal participants are college students aged 18 to under 65 who are currently enrolled (not on leave) in the university's nursing program.

Not a fit: People who are not enrolled college students, students not in nursing programs, those on leave of absence, or those 65 years or older are unlikely to benefit from or be eligible for this program.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the program could help students build stronger teamwork skills and greater confidence in their creative abilities when learning new technologies.

How similar studies have performed: Previous research shows that teamwork and collaborative learning can improve self-efficacy and learning outcomes, while robot-assisted approaches in education have shown promise but are less extensively tested in nursing education.
