What this trial studies
This observational study aims to evaluate the impact of erenumab on treatment satisfaction among patients who have recently started this medication for migraine management. Participants will complete a 20-minute online survey, which will be administered by general neurologists and headache specialists in various clinics and hospitals across the Gulf region. The study will collect primary data over a six-month period, focusing on patients' experiences and satisfaction with erenumab treatment. Inclusion criteria include adults over 18 years who have recently begun erenumab therapy.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults over 18 years who have recently started treatment with erenumab for migraine.
Not a fit: Patients under 18 years or those with contraindications to erenumab will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of patient satisfaction with erenumab, potentially leading to improved migraine management strategies.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies on erenumab, this specific observational approach focusing on treatment satisfaction is relatively novel.
