What this trial studies

This observational study aims to gather data from young breast cancer survivors diagnosed before age 50 to explore factors affecting their quality of life and treatment adherence. Participants will complete online questionnaires that assess dietary patterns, demographics, social determinants, and health-related quality of life. The study will recruit approximately 384 participants through social media support groups and advocacy organizations. By analyzing the collected data, the researchers hope to identify relationships between diet quality and health outcomes in this population.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are female breast cancer survivors diagnosed within the past 10 years and under the age of 50.

Not a fit: Patients who are male breast cancer survivors or those diagnosed with breast cancer after the age of 50 may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into how dietary patterns influence the quality of life and treatment adherence in young breast cancer survivors.
