What this trial studies

This is an online observational survey of Turkish-speaking young adults aged 18–24 that collects information about sexual health literacy and patterns of using digital resources, including generative AI tools. Participants complete questionnaires on knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and how they find and trust sexual health information online. Researchers will analyze associations between AI-related information use and sexual health literacy or risky sexual behaviors. Results are intended to guide digital education and health communication for young people.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal participants are Turkish-speaking young adults aged 18–24 who have internet access and are willing to complete an online survey about sexual health.

Not a fit: People under 18, those who cannot read or write Turkish, lack internet access, or have visual/cognitive impairments that prevent survey completion are unlikely to benefit from or be eligible for participation.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the study could identify gaps in how young adults use AI for sexual health and guide better digital education and messaging to reduce risks.

How similar studies have performed: Previous research links general digital health literacy to sexual health outcomes, but examining literacy specifically around generative AI and sexual health information is relatively new.
