What this trial studies
This observational study involves participants completing a comprehensive questionnaire and undergoing several tests, including a Helicobacter pylori test and a fecal immunochemical test (FIT). The collected data, which includes medical history and lifestyle factors, is entered into a cancer screening information platform for risk assessment. High-risk individuals are then recommended for further clinical screening, and various biological samples are collected for analysis. Participants are required to have at least one annual follow-up to monitor their health status.

Good fit: Ideal candidates are residents of Zhejiang Province who can provide informed consent and are in good physical condition.
Not a fit: Patients with severe cardiovascular, liver, or kidney diseases, or those already diagnosed with malignant tumors of the digestive tract may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to earlier detection and better management of gastrointestinal tumors.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in using combined screening methods for early detection of gastrointestinal tumors, indicating a promising approach.
