What this trial studies

This is a multicenter, observational follow-up of roughly 700 adults prescribed risankizumab according to local labels and routine practice. Participants will receive risankizumab as their physician directs and will be followed for up to 2.5 years with visits scheduled as part of normal clinical care. Data collection focuses on patient-reported quality of life and routine clinical information without additional experimental interventions. The study excludes patients currently on other biologics or certain small-molecule therapies and those recently in other clinical studies.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Adults with a confirmed diagnosis of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis for whom the treating physician has independently decided to prescribe risankizumab and who are not currently on other biologic or specified small-molecule psoriasis therapies.

Not a fit: Patients currently receiving other biologic or small-molecule psoriasis treatments, those treated for a sleep disorder, or those recently enrolled in other clinical studies may not be eligible or derive direct benefit from this observational program.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the study could show that risankizumab leads to meaningful quality-of-life improvements for patients in everyday clinical settings, helping inform treatment decisions.

How similar studies have performed: Randomized controlled trials have demonstrated risankizumab improves psoriasis severity and patient-reported quality of life, but large long-term real-world QoL data are more limited.

Eligibility criteria

* Decision to treat with risankizumab is made prior to and independently of study participation.

Exclusion Criteria:

* History of a sleep disorder diagnosis which the patient is currently being treated for.
* Current or recent (within the last 30 days) participation in an interventional clinical trial or an observational study.
