Research on tumor cells in lymphoma
Clinical and Pathologic Studies in Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Hodgkin's Disease
This study is trying to learn more about tumor cells in people with Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma to help develop better treatments and ways to track how well current treatments are working.

What this trial studies
This research focuses on studying the molecular and cell biology of tumor cells in patients with Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. By analyzing these cells, the study aims to gain insights into how lymphoma develops and spreads. The findings may contribute to the creation of new materials for future treatments or monitoring responses to existing therapies. The study involves collecting tissue samples from patients undergoing routine procedures, such as lymph node excision.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults and pediatric patients diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma who are undergoing lymph node excision for non-cancer therapy.
Not a fit: Patients who do not have Hodgkin's disease or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this research could lead to improved treatment strategies and monitoring techniques for lymphoma patients.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in understanding lymphoma biology, but this specific approach may provide novel insights.
Eligibility criteria
