What this trial studies

This observational study focuses on patients diagnosed with Takotsubo syndrome, also known as broken heart syndrome. It aims to create a nationwide registry to enhance understanding of the condition's pathophysiology and to monitor patient outcomes over time. Participants will be followed every four months, providing data on their medical history, quality of life, and any subsequent health events. The study will utilize physician referrals and self-referrals to identify eligible patients aged 18 and older.
