What this trial studies
The Pediatric Spine Foundation is a registry aimed at helping spine surgeons efficiently identify and monitor patients with chest wall and spinal disorders. This registry facilitates both retrospective and prospective studies, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of specific spinal conditions. By collecting data on patients treated at Children's Hospital Colorado, the registry aims to improve treatment approaches and outcomes for these disorders.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this registry are patients aged 17 and under who are being treated for chest wall deformities, spine deformities, or spinal disorders at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Not a fit: Patients who are enrolled in another spine registry may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could enhance the quality of care and treatment outcomes for children with chest wall and spinal disorders.
How similar studies have performed: While this registry approach is common in clinical settings, the specific focus on pediatric chest wall and spinal disorders may provide novel insights into treatment outcomes.
