What this trial studies
The Intermountain INSPIRE Registry is an observational project aimed at gathering biological samples, clinical information, and laboratory data from patients diagnosed with various healthcare-related conditions at Intermountain Healthcare facilities. It also includes data collection from disease-free individuals in the general population. This long-term registry will utilize samples obtained during routine diagnostic procedures and treatments, with the goal of supporting future research projects. Participation requires informed consent, and the collected data will be used for research purposes after appropriate approvals.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include males and females of any age and ethnicity diagnosed with healthcare-related conditions or disease-free individuals from the general population.
Not a fit: Patients who are unable or unwilling to provide informed consent or those with conditions that may increase risk or compromise the registry's quality may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could enhance understanding of various healthcare conditions and support future research that may lead to improved patient care.
How similar studies have performed: While this registry approach is common, the specific methodology and focus on a broad range of healthcare conditions may provide novel insights.
