What this trial studies

This registry aims to collect and analyze data on aggressive pituitary tumors to identify potential biomarkers and improve patient management. It involves a multidisciplinary consultation meeting organized by a reference center for rare diseases in France, which gathers national experts to discuss patient cases. The registry has already reviewed over 80 patient files, making it one of the largest cohorts for aggressive pituitary tumors both nationally and internationally. The collected data will facilitate research efforts that were previously limited to clinical management.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include patients diagnosed with a pituitary tumor whose cases have been presented at the national HYPOcare multidisciplinary consultation.

Not a fit: Patients who object to participating in this research will not benefit from the findings of this registry.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could lead to improved understanding and treatment options for patients with aggressive pituitary tumors.

How similar studies have performed: While this approach is unique in its focus on aggressive pituitary tumors, similar registries have shown success in advancing research in rare diseases.
