What this trial studies

This observational study aims to gather both retrospective and prospective radiological data to evaluate the malignancy and prognosis of pancreatic diseases. Conducted at a single center, it will track clinical outcomes such as progression-free survival and overall survival for patients diagnosed with pancreatic neoplasms. Data collection will span from 2014 to 2027, with a maximum follow-up of three years per patient, and will involve multidisciplinary discussions for treatment planning.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 and older who are suspected of or diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at any stage.

Not a fit: Patients with non-primary pancreatic diseases will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the understanding of pancreatic malignancies and improve patient prognostication and treatment strategies.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in utilizing radiological data to assess cancer prognosis, making this approach promising yet still requiring further validation.
