Registry collecting clinical and imaging data for brain glioma patients
Registry Describing Clinical Information, Conventional, and Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Information of Patients With Brain Glioma

What this trial studies
This registry collects clinical and advanced MRI data from patients diagnosed with brain gliomas, including both low-grade and glioblastoma types. It aims to monitor treatment responses and long-term outcomes using multimodal advanced MR imaging techniques such as diffusion-weighted imaging and chemical exchange saturation transfer imaging. By creating a comprehensive database, the registry seeks to identify potential imaging biomarkers that could aid in assessing treatment efficacy and improving patient care over time.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults with a confirmed diagnosis of brain glioma who are undergoing first- or second-line therapy and have a life expectancy of more than three months.
Not a fit: Patients without brain gliomas or those with certain bioimplants that may interfere with MRI procedures will not benefit from this registry.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could enhance the understanding of brain glioma treatment responses and lead to improved patient outcomes through better imaging biomarkers.
How similar studies have performed: While the approach of using advanced MRI techniques in glioma research is established, the specific registry format for long-term follow-up is a novel initiative.
Eligibility criteria

Inclusion Criteria: * Patients must have radiologically and histologically confirmed diagnosis of Brain Glioma * Life expectancy of greater than 3 months * Must receive a first- or second-line therapy * Signed informed consent Exclusion Criteria: * No brain gliomas * Patients who have any type of bioimplant activated by mechanical, electronic, or magnetic means (e.g., cochlear implants, pacemakers, neurostimulators, biostimulates, electronic infusion pumps, etc), because such devices may be displaced or malfunction * Patients who are pregnant or breast feeding; urine pregnancy test will be performed on women of child bearing potential
