What this trial studies

This is a prospective, longitudinal diary study that collects a baseline survey followed by 10 workday end-of-day surveys and a short post-study survey. Participants complete mobile-friendly questionnaires about prosocial job crafting behaviors and psychological capital (hope, efficacy, optimism, resilience). Data are anonymized and analyzed with multilevel models to examine day-to-day and team-level links between resource sharing and well-being. The study is conducted online through a secure survey platform and targets nurses working in team-based hospital settings.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal participants are nurse professionals working in team-based hospital settings who can complete a baseline survey and at least five of the ten end-of-workday mobile surveys.

Not a fit: Part-time workers with contracts under three days per week, those not engaged in team-based work, or individuals unable to complete the baseline survey and minimum daily surveys are unlikely to benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the findings could point to simple daily behaviors that reduce burnout and improve well-being among nurses.

How similar studies have performed: Prior job crafting research shows promise for reducing burnout, but applying prosocial job crafting in daily diary designs at the team level is a newer approach with limited longitudinal evidence.
