What this trial studies

This research aims to address hypertension management disparities within the Greater Mankato Somali population by randomly assigning participants to either a treatment group, which receives health education and a blood pressure monitor, or a control group, which only receives referrals to a primary care provider. The study will assess changes in blood pressure status and follow-up with healthcare providers over a period of three weeks and three months.
