What this trial studies
This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effects of Qi-Gong on individuals suffering from post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC). Participants will practice Qi-Gong three times a week for three months, with their physiological function and quality of life being assessed throughout the study. The trial may include a comparison group receiving standard care to determine the effectiveness of Qi-Gong. Monthly physiological data will be recorded to track improvements.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals over 20 years old who are experiencing post-acute sequelae of COVID-19.
Not a fit: Patients who cannot cooperate or have severe schizophrenia may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly enhance the recovery and quality of life for patients experiencing lingering effects of COVID-19.
How similar studies have performed: While there is limited data on Qi-Gong specifically for PASC, similar mind-body interventions have shown promise in improving health outcomes in other chronic conditions.
