What this trial studies
The Bloom Study aims to promote healthy weight development among infants through a home-based intervention led by community health nurses in Denmark. This intervention begins during pregnancy and continues until the child is 30 months old, focusing on modifiable risk factors such as feeding practices, physical activity, screen time, and sleep. The study involves a cluster-randomized trial across 22 municipalities, comparing outcomes between intervention and control groups. It specifically targets first-time mothers and aims to include families from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
