What this trial studies

This study investigates the effectiveness of three nudge interventions aimed at influencing beverage selection and consumption behaviors among Chinese university students. The interventions include providing information on the sugar content of sugar-sweetened beverages, disseminating harmful information about these beverages, and showcasing the social norm of choosing mineral water. Conducted in a classroom setting, participants will be randomly assigned to different groups to assess the impact of these nudges on their beverage choices. The goal is to determine if these low-cost strategies can effectively guide students towards healthier options.
