What this trial studies
This research explores how poem writing can improve the well-being of adult volunteers who support patients recovering from mental illness in Hong Kong. The intervention involves two 3-hour sessions of guided poem writing, focusing on themes of accomplishment, joy, and gratitude. Primary outcomes include mental well-being and happiness, assessed through standardized scales, while secondary outcomes evaluate depressive symptoms and participant experiences. The study also incorporates qualitative interviews to gather deeper insights into the participants' experiences and perceived benefits.
