Physiotherapist-guided online exercise for remote white-collar workers
Effect of a Physiotherapist-Supervised Online Exercise Program on Pain and Functional Performance in Remote White-Collar Workers

What this trial studies
This single-arm prospective study enrolls remote white-collar workers with neck or low-back pain or perceived postural disorders and delivers a six-week physiotherapist-supervised online exercise program. Intervention sessions are delivered remotely via digital devices and tailored to each participant's physical needs by a physiotherapist. Outcomes measured include pain intensity and functional performance before and after the program to provide preliminary evidence of clinical effectiveness. Participants with major chronic diseases, neurological or sensory impairments are excluded, so results will apply mainly to otherwise healthy, sedentary remote workers.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are sedentary remote white-collar workers aged 18 or older who have worked remotely for at least three months and report neck and/or low-back pain or perceived postural problems, without chronic systemic, neurological, psychiatric, or significant sensory disorders.
Not a fit: People with chronic diseases, neurological or psychiatric disorders, visual or hearing impairments, or those unable to participate in online supervised sessions are unlikely to benefit from this program.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, participants may experience reduced neck or low-back pain and improved flexibility and daily function without needing in-person clinic visits.
How similar studies have performed: Prior telerehabilitation and physiotherapist-supervised home exercise programs have shown modest to moderate benefits for musculoskeletal pain and function in comparable populations, though evidence remains preliminary.
