What this trial studies

This study evaluates the effectiveness of an online Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) program called 'READY for MS', designed to improve psychological flexibility and self-efficacy in individuals with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS) who are at risk of job loss. The program can be accessed via computer or mobile device, allowing participants to engage without needing to travel for in-person therapy. The research aims to train healthcare professionals to deliver this program effectively and assess its impact on work stability among PwMS. Participants will complete online questionnaires at various stages, and a subset will participate in interviews to provide qualitative insights into the program's implementation.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults aged 18 and over with a clinical diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis who are currently employed and intend to remain in their jobs for at least six months.

Not a fit: Patients who are planning to leave their job within the next six months or lack access to the necessary technology for participation may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this program could help PwMS maintain their employment and improve their overall quality of life.
