What this trial studies
This clinical trial evaluates the ATTACH™ Online platform, designed to improve parent-child relationships and enhance children's mental health and development in families facing early adversity. The study involves 100 parents and their children aged newborn to 36 months, utilizing a quasi-experimental design to assess the effectiveness of the intervention over a 10-week period. Outcomes will be measured immediately post-intervention and three months later, focusing on parental reflective function and relationship quality. Additionally, the feasibility of implementing the program will be examined through qualitative methods.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include parents with children aged newborn to 36 months who are willing to participate in the 10-week ATTACH™ Online platform program.
Not a fit: Patients who do not have children within the specified age range or who are unable to commit to the program may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly improve the mental health and developmental outcomes for children at risk due to early adversity.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results with similar interventions aimed at improving parent-child interactions in at-risk populations.
