What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effects of online individual motivational interviewing on well-being, stress, and self-management difficulties in individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. Conducted as a randomized controlled trial, participants will receive weekly motivational interviews over four sessions, each lasting up to 40 minutes. The study aims to assess how this intervention can improve the psychosocial status and disease management of individuals with diabetes. Data will be analyzed using various statistical methods to determine the effectiveness of the intervention.

Not a fit: Patients with Type 1 Diabetes or those who have difficulty reading and understanding Turkish may not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * volunteering to participate in the study, * Having a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes, * HbA1C values outside the normal range for the last 2-3 months. Exclusion Criteria: * Having a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, * Having limitations in reading and understanding Turkish.
