What this trial studies
This clinical trial evaluates the Healthy Minds online group intervention aimed at facilitating a sustainable return to work for individuals suffering from mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Participants, who are either on sick leave or have recently returned to work, will be divided into experimental and control groups to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. They will complete online questionnaires at baseline and two months later to measure health and work-related outcomes. The study seeks to determine if the intervention leads to better outcomes compared to those who do not receive it.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals currently on sick leave or who have recently returned to work due to depression or anxiety disorders.
Not a fit: Patients who cannot communicate in French or have previously received similar cognitive behavioral therapy interventions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly improve the ability of individuals with mental health conditions to return to work sustainably.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using online interventions for mental health, suggesting potential success for this approach.
