What this trial studies

This study aims to create a prospective multicentric observational database to investigate various vascular infections, including aortitis and infections related to vascular grafts and endografts. It will collect clinical and paraclinical data regarding medical, surgical, anesthetic, and intensive care management of these infections. The goal is to better understand the management strategies and outcomes associated with these rare but severe conditions, which currently lack consensus in treatment approaches.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with a vascular infection, whether native or prosthetic.

Not a fit: Patients under legal protection will not benefit from this study as they are excluded from participation.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved management strategies and outcomes for patients suffering from vascular infections.

How similar studies have performed: While vascular infections are rare, previous studies have highlighted the need for better management strategies, indicating that this approach could yield valuable insights.
