What this trial studies

This observational, international, multicenter cohort study aims to collect clinical data on patients with urinary stones undergoing Endoscopic Combined Intrarenal Surgery (ECIRS) across various centers in Asia. It will gather baseline demographic information, symptoms, risk factors, and laboratory variables, as well as treatment details and perioperative outcomes. Follow-up data will be collected for up to three months post-surgery to analyze patterns of presentation and treatment effectiveness. The study seeks to enhance understanding of ECIRS outcomes in the context of renal stone management.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include patients diagnosed with urinary stones who are scheduled to undergo ECIRS and consent to participate.

Not a fit: Patients undergoing ECIRS for conditions other than urinary stones or those with incomplete intraoperative records may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve treatment strategies and outcomes for patients with urinary stones undergoing ECIRS.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success with similar observational approaches in understanding surgical outcomes, making this study a valuable addition to existing knowledge.
