What this trial studies
This registry aims to collect data from a large cohort of adults with mild and moderate asthma in real-world settings to observe the epidemiological evolution of the disease. Participants will be enrolled based on their asthma diagnosis according to the GINA guidelines and will attend scheduled visits at respiratory or allergy clinics. The study will follow patients for 6 to 12 months, collecting information on their condition and the therapeutic interventions they receive. Written consent will be obtained from participants, and informative materials will be provided to them and their general practitioners.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults diagnosed with mild or moderate asthma who are attending respiratory or allergy clinics.
Not a fit: Patients with severe asthma or other significant pulmonary or immunological disorders may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance understanding of asthma management and improve treatment strategies for patients with mild and moderate asthma.
How similar studies have performed: Other observational studies have shown success in understanding asthma management, making this approach both relevant and potentially impactful.
