What this trial studies
This observational cohort study will enroll 450 transgender individuals, including both HIV-negative and HIV-positive participants, from community health centers in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Over a 24-month period, the study will track various physical and mental health factors, including HIV/STI status, sexual risk behaviors, and experiences of stigma and discrimination. The goal is to identify the biomedical, structural, and psychosocial factors affecting the health of transgender people and to describe the barriers they face in accessing healthcare. The findings aim to inform holistic healthcare policies tailored for the transgender community.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are transgender individuals aged 18 and older from Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines.
Not a fit: Patients who do not identify as transgender or are under 18 years old may not receive benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * Thai/Vietnamese/Filipino nationality * Aged ≥ 18 years old * Self-identify as a transgender woman or transgender man * Have signed consent form Exclusion Criteria: * None
