What this trial studies

This trial investigates the effects of a multifaceted nutrition intervention on frailty among elderly individuals living in the community. It aims to understand the trajectory of frailty and the factors influencing it, while also assessing the impact of nutritional and exercise combined interventions. A total of 315 frail older adults, aged 65 to 85, will be recruited to participate in this randomized, controlled trial. The study seeks to develop a sustainable management model for addressing frailty in the elderly population.

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are frail older adults aged between 65 and 85 years.

Not a fit: Patients with multiple serious diseases, severe disabilities, or significant mental health issues may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
