What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effects of specialized nursing interventions on image quality and patient satisfaction in Alzheimer's patients undergoing PET/CT imaging. A total of 200 patients will be analyzed, with one group receiving standard nursing care and the other receiving enhanced nursing support. The study aims to compare the outcomes of both groups over a six-month period at Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital. Key metrics include image quality and levels of patient satisfaction, as well as anxiety levels post-intervention.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease who meet specific diagnostic criteria.
Not a fit: Patients with other neurological disorders or systemic diseases that cause cognitive impairment may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve the quality of imaging and overall patient experience for Alzheimer's patients during diagnostic procedures.
How similar studies have performed: While there is limited data on similar nursing interventions in PET imaging for Alzheimer's patients, the approach of enhancing patient care during imaging procedures has shown promise in other contexts.
