What this trial studies
This study aims to address cognitive decline in community-dwelling elderly individuals by implementing a multidomain intervention that targets various health factors such as mobility, nutrition, and psychosocial well-being. Participants will include older adults aged 60 and above who report cognitive-related issues but do not have a dementia diagnosis. The intervention seeks to enhance cognitive abilities and overall health through a comprehensive approach that combines multiple strategies. By focusing on prevention and early intervention, the study hopes to improve the quality of life for older adults.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are community-dwelling adults aged 60 and older who experience subjective cognitive decline or mild cognitive impairment but do not have a dementia diagnosis.
Not a fit: Patients with unstable medical conditions or those diagnosed with any type of dementia may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly enhance cognitive function and quality of life for elderly individuals at risk of cognitive decline.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results with multidomain interventions targeting cognitive decline, indicating potential for success in this approach.
