What this trial studies

This study involves patients diagnosed with subacromial impingement syndrome who will receive a combination of conventional treatments and specific mobilization techniques for the shoulder and neck. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard conservative treatment or additional shoulder and neck mobilization therapies. Pain intensity and shoulder functionality will be assessed using various evaluation methods, including the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and the DASH questionnaire. Measurements will be taken before and after a 3-week intervention period to determine the effectiveness of the treatments.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults over 18 years old with a diagnosis of subacromial impingement syndrome experiencing pain for at least 3 months.

Not a fit: Patients with a history of shoulder surgery, specific shoulder problems, or systemic diseases may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved pain management and functionality for patients suffering from subacromial impingement syndrome.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with similar mobilization techniques for shoulder conditions, suggesting potential for success in this approach.
