What this trial studies

This observational study measures the levels of neutralizing antibodies at various intervals (2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months) following COVID-19 vaccination in healthcare workers. It aims to identify factors that may influence antibody titers, such as age, sex, body weight, and medication use. Additionally, the study will compare the performance of four different diagnostic ELISA kits in measuring these antibody levels at the two-month mark. The goal is to understand the duration of antibody response and the reliability of different testing methods.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthcare workers aged 20-60 who have completed their COVID-19 vaccination.

Not a fit: Patients with serious underlying diseases may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into the longevity of vaccine-induced immunity and inform booster vaccination strategies.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in measuring antibody responses post-vaccination, making this approach both relevant and necessary.
