What this trial studies
This study aims to identify and analyze functional pathologies of the musculoskeletal system among students in the bachelor's program of physiotherapy at Charles University. It focuses on assessing their postural functions and teaching the experimental group techniques to alleviate these pathologies. The methodology includes differential diagnostics to verify the presence of issues such as trigger point pain. The ultimate goal is to enhance students' motor behavior and postural functions to prevent future disorders.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are students enrolled in the bachelor's program of physiotherapy at Charles University who exhibit functional pathologies of the musculoskeletal system.
Not a fit: Patients with serious cardiovascular or orthopedic dysfunction, neurological diseases, or reduced cognitive functions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved musculoskeletal health and posture among physiotherapy students, enhancing their future practice.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is focused on a specific student population, similar studies have shown success in addressing musculoskeletal issues through targeted interventions.
