What this trial studies
This study aims to develop and evaluate an addiction management model specifically designed for 6th-grade students at risk of digital addiction. The model integrates standardized psychological resilience training with emotional freedom techniques to address both behavioral and emotional aspects of technology use. By focusing on adolescents, the study seeks to provide effective strategies to mitigate the risks associated with excessive digital engagement. Participants will be screened for their risk of digital addiction and must voluntarily agree to participate.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are 6th-grade students who are at high risk of digital addiction and can communicate in Turkish.
Not a fit: Students who do not exhibit signs of digital addiction or have auditory or mental disabilities that affect participation may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve the psychological resilience of adolescents and reduce their risk of digital addiction.
How similar studies have performed: While there is growing interest in addressing digital addiction among adolescents, this specific model combining resilience training and emotional techniques is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested.
