What this trial studies
This study evaluates the clinical course of patients diagnosed with pleural effusion, focusing on identifying clinical factors and biomarkers that can predict outcomes and prognosis. Patients presenting at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital will have pleural fluid and blood samples collected, while receiving standard diagnostic procedures and medical care. The study will observe these patients for up to three years to gather data on their clinical progression without any interventions related to the study itself.
